Built on Stellar

The savings circle,
finally provable.

Lumio puts your ajo, esusu, chama, or cooperative's ledger on-chain — so every contribution, vote, and payout is visible to the whole group, not just the treasurer.

Group savings already work. The record-keeping is the weak point.

Across Africa and other emerging markets, savings groups pool real money — sometimes a lot of it — and run entirely on a notebook and trust in whoever holds it. It usually works. When it doesn't, there's no way to prove what happened.

Lumio doesn't change how your group operates. Members still contribute on a schedule, still take turns receiving the pot, still vote on what to do with the group's money. What changes is that the ledger lives on Stellar — so the balance, the history, and every vote are visible to everyone in the group, permanently, and can't be quietly altered.

How a Lumio cycle runs

The same rhythm your group already follows — just visible to everyone, the whole way through.

Members contribute

Everyone pays into the shared pool on the group's usual schedule.

The pool is visible

The treasury balance and every contribution are on-chain — anyone in the group can check it, anytime.

The group votes

Decisions about the group's money — loans, payout order, rule changes — are decided by member vote, recorded permanently.

The payout rotates

Whoever's turn it is receives the pot — provably, automatically, with no room for the record to be wrong.

Where Lumio is headed

Built in the open, one phase at a time.

Phase 1 — In progress

Foundation

Treasury contract live on the Soroban testnet. Shared SDK and UI package scaffolded. Member dashboard, admin panel, and API running end to end.

Phase 2

Governance & voting

On-chain proposals and member voting, built into the dashboard — so decisions about the group's money are made together and recorded permanently.

Phase 3

Dividends

Automated, provable payout distribution, plus treasury analytics for cooperative admins.

Phase 4

Public launch

Mainnet deployment, the first pilot cooperatives onboarded, and a mobile-friendly app for members without a desktop.

Roadmap subject to change as the first pilot groups shape what we build next.

You're on the list.

We'll email you the moment Lumio opens up.

Built in the open, on purpose.

Lumio is open source from the first commit. The contracts, the SDK, and the apps are all public — anyone can read them, audit them, or contribute.
